January 2026 - President's Letter

Dear NOSHE Members,

As we step into 2026, I want to take a moment to reflect on where we’ve been and share a glimpse of where we’re headed as a chapter. It’s been an exciting time for our NOSHE community, and I’m incredibly grateful for the energy, dedication, and connection each of you brings to our organization.

Over the past year, our chapter has continued to grow and evolve. We’ve been proud to host meaningful programs and gatherings, strengthen our partnerships, and expand our reach within the healthcare community. One highlight I’m especially excited to share is the addition of two new hospital members-at-large: Bill Mackay from Firelands and Bill Maynard from Akron Children’s. We are thrilled to welcome them and look forward to the insight and collaboration they bring to our chapter.

Looking ahead to 2026, we have a full and exciting calendar planned. We’ll kick things off with our Topgolf event in April, followed by our annual golf outing in July. In September, we’ll host our annual conference, which continues to be a cornerstone event for education, networking, and collaboration. In addition to these signature events, we have several educational programs on the horizon throughout the year, all designed to support professional growth and keep our members connected to the latest trends and best practices.

Our focus this year is on strengthening relationships, increasing engagement, and ensuring our chapter remains a valuable resource for every member. This momentum would not be possible without the dedication of our board, volunteers, and members. Your time, commitment, and enthusiasm are the foundation of our success, and I am truly thankful for all that you do.

I’m excited for what 2026 holds and look forward to another year of growth, collaboration, and community. Thank you for being part of NOSHE and for helping make our chapter such a strong and welcoming organization.
